In July 2014, Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) eManifest for Forwarders will require advanced filings of house bills of lading for consolidated cargo from freight forwarders. Supplementary cargo reports will no longer be required in most cases. At that time CBSA is also expected to begin accepting Importer Advance Trade Data from importers and their filing agents.
